North Area Rush

Based in Thornton, Colorado, the North Area Rush Soccer Club is a non-profit organization established to provide an unparalleled personal growth experience through the game of soccer and to promote life-long participation in the sport.  Formed in 2009, as part of the Colorado Rush umbrella, the North Area Rush serves over 1,000 youth soccer players in the North Denver Metro Area.  As a member of the United States Youth Soccer Association and US Club Soccer, the club offers recreational and competitive programs for players of all ages and abilities.

The North Area Rush is part of the Colorado Rush Trinity, which includes Rush Pikes Peak and Colorado rush.  This relationship has seen many players from our competitive programs training and playing together from all three branches.  In addition to organizing teams and handling league operations for our developmental program, the Rush also offers a wide variety of educational programs for players, coaches and referees through the Developmental branch.

Over the past several years, our sister club the Colorado Rush, has become recognized as one of the premier youth soccer organizations in the nation.  The club's competitive programs consist of the Advanced and Academy branches and service more than 1,400 participants.  Since 1998, Rush competitive teams have won an unprecedented 12 United States Youth Soccer National Championships and one US Club Soccer National Championship.  Rush competitive teams compete locally in leagues organized by the Colorado State Youth Soccer Association. The club also participates in the US Soccer Development Academy and Elite Clubs National League at the youth level.

Rush Soccer
In 2003, the Rush brand began its expansion, first forming the Virginia Rush. Since that time, Rush Soccer has grown to over 26 clubs in the United States and a membership of nearly 40,000 players nationwide. In mid July of 2009 Rush broke the mold yet again by starting a Rush affiliate 9600 miles from it’s original home in Colorado, by forming the Nkomazi Rush in South Africa. Ghana, Gambia, Senegal and Togo and several other African clubs have all joined Rush soccer since that time. Rush Soccer also has a presence in Asia with Thailand Rush and is looking to partner with clubs in South America

Rush Fest - Teams from all across Rush Nation converge in one location over the summertime to partake in games, training, social activites and more. In 2011, U12 and U14 teams will be invited to Albuquerque, New Mexico for the 2011 Rush Fest. Click here for the Rush Fest informational brochure.
